Author talks to teachers

Tony Haruch, author and children’s book illustrator, will be speaking later this month at the luncheon of the Putnam County Retired Teachers Association.
He is a retired Mahopac art teacher and the author and illustrator of an children’s book, “Kurtal Explores Australian Aboriginal Art” (Crystal Productions).
Winner of the National Art Educator Award, Haruch will talk about and display some his collection of Aboriginal art.
The group brings together retired teachers and administrators (and their spouses) to socialize and keep informed about the field.

I am very surprised that nothing was said about the book sale at West Nyack library. This was to help raise money to fix some of their rooms. We went as a whole family. they had a really nice selection..

I am a very well rounded reader. But i saw some books i didnt have. Like the star trek Klingon dictionary,book on the old series start trek aliens.
2 old science encyclopedia’s (1 dollar?) you cant beat it.
2 science fiction anthologies.
we also got a few very old books on poetry and some shakespeare. these were slightly more money. 7-10 dollars each.
